Miss Joanne Chaytor of St. Paul's Church, Goulds/Kilbride has been selected as the first Newfoundlander by Volunteers in Mission to go to Tanzania. In order for her to go her support group has to raise $40,000.00 over a two-year period. This money will be used for airfare to and from Tanzania, living allowance and expenses, etc. She will be working with the Provincial Secretary of the Anglican Church in Tanzania, The Rev. Canon Dr. R. Mwita Akiri as an English liaison between his office and Partners in North America, Europe and U.K.

Any donations towards Joanne's expenses can be forwarded to the Rev. Edward Keeping, 19 King's Bridge Road, St. John's, NL A1C 3K4. All monies will then be forwarded to the Volunteers in Mission Program, National Church.
